The company is mainly developing CE electronic products for audio.
Responsibilities|
- Lead the NPI (New Product Introduction) team to ensure the creation of comprehensive quality and design plans covering all stages of the product life cycle.
- Align facilities, capabilities, and processes with key business objectives to maximize the value of NPI to the business.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in production engineering, planning vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to enhance manufacturing performance.
- Design, validate, implement, and maintain production systems to meet product delivery timelines, quality standards, and cost objectives.
- Drive functional excellence within the production engineering team.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean techniques and value engineering to enhance process capabilities and eliminate waste.
- Identify, justify, and oversee capital equipment investments, calculating Return on Investment (ROI).
- Analyze and improve material usage, addressing issues related to downtime and identifying trends for improvement.
- Ensure the accuracy of Production Engineering procedures and documentation.
- Attend meetings, communicate instructions, and take necessary actions.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
- Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
- Conduct risk assessments for processes and tasks in the department.
- Motivate and coach the team to achieve operational success.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements|
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in a management position.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within the expectations set by Senior Management.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience in New Product Introduction, standard time setup, and line balancing optimization.
- High level of responsibility and accountability for Department Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management with a win-win mentality.
