Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate technical R&D and standardization efforts for manufacturing automation and integration.
- Plan and manage factory process analysis, automation solution design, development, and implementation.
- Supervise automation equipment and fixture development, including in-house design and system integration.
- Oversee software development for automation equipment and related control systems.
- Drive internal innovation projects to develop self-built automation systems and smart manufacturing platforms.
- Promote cross-department collaboration to enhance automation capability, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Lead technology development initiatives and academia-industry collaborations to elevate manufacturing capabilities and nurture technical talents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of factory automation development experience, including 5 years in leadership roles.
- Solid understanding of automation equipment development, process flow, and system integration.
- Familiar with electronics manufacturing processes (SMT, assembly, testing, packaging).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to review and evaluate electrical and mechanical design.
- Proven experience in Smart Factory (Industry 4.0) implementation and digital transformation projects.
- Proficient in C, C#, or C++ programming for hardware control systems.
- Good English communication ability and cross-functional collaboration skills.
