Summary
We are hiring a Taiwan-based Quality Engineer to manage product quality and supplier performance across L6–L10 manufacturing stages. You will ensure effective inspection and testing processes, coordinate closely with cross-functional teams, and resolve issues quickly to keep production on track. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on work in high-volume manufacturing and is committed to building reliable, scalable quality systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee product and process quality across L6–L10 manufacturing, ensuring effective inspection standards, in-line controls, and test coverage.
- Lead yield and reliability investigations, driving root-cause analysis and CAPA with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Manage supplier audits, quality reviews, and ongoing performance metrics such as yield, defect rates, and DPPM.
- Support NPI-to-MP quality readiness through documentation, training, and system validation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect prevention, process capability, and supplier quality enhancement
You may be a strong match if you have:
- 10+ years in quality, supplier quality, or manufacturing quality roles within semiconductors, server hardware, or complex electro-mechanical products.
- Demonstrated success overseeing quality performance at leading CMs/ODMs in Taiwan.
- Solid understanding of quality frameworks such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, and industry certification standards (ISO/AS).
- Working knowledge of assembly and test processes across substrates, packaging, PCBA builds, and system integration.
- Fluent Mandarin and English, with clear and confident communication across teams and suppliers.
- A hands-on approach to problem solving, supported by strong analytical skills and root-cause investigation experience.
Bonus qualifications include:
- Experience working on AI ASIC or HBM-related server programs.
- Background in reliability testing, such as burn-in, environmental tests, or stress qualification.
- Familiarity with test data platforms, analytics tools, or quality reporting dashboards.
- Prior involvement in startups or NPI ramp cycles where speed and adaptability are essential.
