Job Summary
This role is responsible for machinery safety assessment, functional safety validation, and international compliance evaluation for industrial equipment and automation systems. You will work closely with international senior engineers in a fully Englishspeaking environment, performing equipment safety assessments, reviewing machine designs, conducting on-site inspections, and helping customers achieve compliance with international machinery safety standards. Responsibilities
- Perform machinery safety assessments and certification activities according to international standards (EN 13849-1, EN 60204-1, EN ISO 10218, etc.).
- Conduct functional and safety testing, including performance evaluation, protective function verification, and fault analysis.
- Review equipment installation, electrical wiring, grounding, and safety protection during on-site inspections.
- Review mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, technical documentation, and operation manuals.
- Analyze non-conformities and support customers in implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare machinery safety assessment reports and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with international senior engineers in daily project execution.
- Develop expertise in Functional Safety standards including IEC 62061 and IEC 61508.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in machinery, automation equipment, electrical, or mechatronics engineering.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, 2D/3D drawings, and electrical schematics. • Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer site assessments.
- Business-level English communication capability (daily work environment is fully in English).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in machinery safety, CE certification, or product compliance.
- Experience with industrial automation equipment, robotics, semiconductor equipment, or manufacturing equipment.
- Familiarity with EN 13849, EN 60204, ISO 12100, IEC 62061, IEC 61508 or other machinery safety standards.
- Experience in machine design, electrical control, PLC, or automation systems.
- Knowledge of Risk Assessment, Safety PLC, Functional Safety, or SIL concepts.
