
Summary
A fast-growing electric mobility company is seeking a technically strong After-Sales Engineer to support post-sales service operations across the U.S. and international manufacturing teams.
This role serves as a technical bridge between field service, dealers, and manufacturing partners. You will be responsible for diagnosing complex issues, supporting warranty and quality investigations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product reliability and service performance.
This is a hands-on, cross-border technical role ideal for someone with strong EV/vehicle diagnostic experience who enjoys problem-solving and working closely with engineering and factory teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support to dealers and service partners on diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
- Act as a liaison between U.S. service operations and manufacturing partners (including international assembly plants).
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes related to quality and field issues.
- Assist in warranty evaluation and technical case review.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, service bulletins, and repair guidelines.
- Deliver technical training (remote or onsite) to service teams and partners.
- Monitor service trends and provide feedback to engineering and quality teams to enhance product reliability.
- Travel as needed to support factory or field operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics, EV systems, or technical service environments.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills (high-voltage experience preferred).
- Experience collaborating with manufacturing, quality, or engineering teams.
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly across teams and regions.
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Degree in Engineering is a plus, but equivalent hands-on technical experience is highly valued.
