This role leads the Professional AV product line at a business-unit level, owning global product strategy, portfolio planning, pricing architecture, and go-to-market enablement.
The Associate Director will drive long-term product direction, manage a regional product management organization, and work closely with R&D, sales, and marketing teams to deliver competitive, scalable solutions across multiple industries. This position has clear visibility into business performance and plays a critical role in shaping the company’s professional AV and industrial computing growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global market trends, competitive landscape, and product positioning across industrial computing and professional AV domains
- Define product segmentation, feature differentiation, and cost structure based on market and customer needs
- Own product roadmap planning and long-term portfolio strategy
- Lead pricing architecture, lifecycle pricing management, and profitability optimization
- Review product development progress, cost structure, and project risk on a regular basis
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop industry-specific solution messaging and enablement tools
- Manage product success cases, best practices, and internal knowledge sharing
- Support complex or strategic sales opportunities by integrating multiple product architectures into customer solutions
- Provide regular market intelligence, competitive insights, and application training to sales and marketing teams
- Define and manage team KPIs aligned with business objectives
- Lead, develop, and mentor a product management organization (5–8 people)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical disciplines
- 10+ years of experience in own-brand product management within industrial computing, professional AV, or related industries
- 5+ years of experience managing product management teams at department or business-unit level
- Strong business acumen with solid analytical and strategic thinking capability
- Proven ability to translate market needs into scalable product strategies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial automation, IPC, or enterprise-grade AV solutions
- Background working with global sales organizations and multi-region product launches
- Exposure to solution-based selling and cross-industry application development
