Responsibilities
- Build technology roadmap in alignment with the company’s business strategies, ensuring consistency with customer strategies and the overall corporate vision.
- Evaluate the feasibility and return on investment of new technology adoption, and propose R&D project priorities and resource allocation plans.
- Lead new product development and define technology platform selections.
- Lead and improve R&D organizations efficiency and continuously optimize R&D frameworks and technical processes.
- Integrate and coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project schedule, quality, and cost objectives are met.
- Report technology progress, risks, and opportunities to board members, and act as a technical representative with partners and customers when required.
Requirements
- 20+ years of experience in IC design and with senior leadership role.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams, including R&D, product, validation, system development, and mass production transfer.
- Strong technical vision and foresight, with the ability to anticipate industry trends and emerging architectures.
- Decision-making and risk management capabilities, particularly in areas of technology investment, project execution, and process or manufacturing changes.
- Proficient in English
