Job Summary
The Power Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of power solutions across a wide range of applications, including high-power AC/DC systems, adapter designs, and PD/GaN-based charging solutions.
This role requires strong hands-on experience in power circuit design, system validation, and product commercialization, with opportunities to work on both mature products and next-generation power technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop power circuits including AC/DC, DC/DC, and adapter solutions (500W–3KW range)
- Develop and optimize PD charging systems (20W–240W) and GaN-based power applications
- Perform power design validation including efficiency, thermal performance, stability, and reliability
- Conduct circuit testing, debugging, and issue analysis during development and mass production stages
- Select key power components and optimize system performance, cost, and layout
- Support product development from concept, EVT/DVT/PVT to mass production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including EE, ME, thermal, and manufacturing
- Work with customers or internal teams to resolve application-related technical issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience in power electronics or power supply design
- Hands-on experience with AC/DC or DC/DC power circuit design
- Familiar with power topologies and system-level power design concepts
- Experience in circuit debugging, validation, and performance optimization
- Basic understanding of power component selection and layout considerations
- Good communication skills and teamwork ability
- Working-level English

- Experience in high-power design (500W+)

- Experience in adapter or power supply product development
- Experience supporting mass production and manufacturing processes
