
Summary
As a Firmware Engineer, you will co-develop a cutting-edge software stack optimized across hardware and software boundaries to drive the full potential of large-scale Transformer models. You will tackle complex challenges across the full stack—from low-level drivers and APIs to high-level frameworks—shaping AI solutions that revolutionize natural language processing and generative media.
Responsibilities
- Architect high-efficiency software to optimize custom chip performance for massive transformer models.
- Partner with elite hardware and software teams to push the limits of AI infrastructure.
- Tackle intricate technical hurdles ranging from hardware-near drivers to application-level APIs.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews to uphold standards in testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Lead the development of AI solutions for automated reasoning and advanced language processing.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in CS/EE is highly preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in low-level software engineering with a deep command of computer architecture and OS internals.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, setting technical strategy and guiding project teams through the full development cycle.
- Proficiency in C++, Rust, or Python, with additional exposure to Java or Go for problem-solving.
- Deep technical expertise in embedded architectures and interface protocols (PCIe, DRAM, I2C, etc.).
- Deep command of computer architecture, operating system internals, and distributed systems.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
