Summary
A fast-growing wireless technology company specializing in next-gen broadband is seeking a Signal Integrity (SI) Engineer with expertise in high-speed simulation and signal validation to optimize PCB designs and high-speed interfaces for mmWave platforms and networking equipment, ensuring exceptional signal performance, reliability, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Perform signal integrity (SI) simulation and analysis for high-speed interfaces (Ethernet, DDR, SerDes, etc.) to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Define simulation models and test methodologies for high-speed designs, including impedance control, crosstalk, and return path optimization.
- Collaborate closely with hardware design engineers to guide schematic capture, layout reviews, and design decisions based on SI results.
- Conduct signal validation and debugging using lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, TDR, and VNA to correlate simulation with real-world measurements.
- Develop design guidelines and best practices for high-speed PCB stack-up, routing, and power integrity.
- Support root cause analysis and provide solutions for signal integrity and EMI/EMC issues during development and mass production.
- Work cross-functionally with teams to ensure system-level performance targets are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in signal integrity analysis for high-speed digital systems.
- Strong expertise in simulation tools such as Ansys SIwave, HyperLynx, ADS, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of high-speed interface standards (e.g., Ethernet 1G/10G, DDR, PCIe, USB).
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, TDR, and high-speed validation equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Experience with networking or telecom hardware platforms is a plus.
