Summary
We are looking for a high-caliber Staff System Integration Engineer to serve as the technical cornerstone for our global platform integration group. In this leadership-focused capacity, you will bridge the gap between core R&D and large-scale product deployment, ensuring that sophisticated signal-processing and software technologies are seamlessly unified within next-generation computing ecosystems.
As a senior technical leader, your influence will extend beyond individual contributions; you will architect integration frameworks, mentor high-performing teams, and resolve complex system-level hurdles to move flagship products from initial design to global mass production
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple high-complexity engineering projects, providing direction on product applications and system architecture.
- Architect and adapt device drivers (Windows/Linux) and associated software layers to meet specific customer requirements and hardware constraints.
- Oversee the deployment of advanced features, performance optimizations, and critical bug fixes across global customer platforms.
- Spearhead the debugging of intricate system-level issues, utilizing both software diagnostics and hardware analysis (e.g., schematics, logic analyzers).
- Act as the primary technical liaison between firmware, hardware design, QA, and field application teams across different geographies (US/UK/Asia).
- Drive the improvement of engineering best practices, conduct code/schematic reviews, and proactively remove technical roadblocks to ensure program alignment.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (BS/MS) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 6+ years in embedded systems, with a significant focus on hardware-software co-design or complex peripheral integration.
- Demonstrated success with major PC/SoC architectures (Intel, AMD, or ARM), including full system bring-up and power/configuration management.
- Deep knowledge of kernel-level development, specifically regarding concurrency, synchronization, and interrupt management.
- Expert understanding of high-speed serial buses and communication protocols (e.g., SoundWire, I2S, HDA, I2C, SPI).
- Exceptional diagnostic skills across the entire stack, utilizing everything from software debuggers to physical hardware tools like oscilloscopes.
- Professional fluency in English with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage technical alignment across global time zones.
