Responsibilities｜
- Recognized subject matter experts in mechanical component technologies, design practices, specialty materials, fabrication methods, should cost dynamics and quality assurance systems
- Set up senior level mechanical part industry network.
- Analyze capacity of mechanical component industry in order to predict market constraints and drive sourcing policy counter measures to insure continuity of supply and cost optimization.
- Source, Select, Risk Assess, Audit, Qualify and On-Board new suppliers.
- Cooperate with the engineering team help them to follow up on the promotion of procurement projects.
- Setting up, implementing, and prompting annual/quarterly price reduction plan and the VA/VE price reduction plan
- Assist in the setting up global supply chain logistics planning and integration.
Requirements｜
- 5+ years experienced in strategic sourcing and supplier management
- Experienced in metal/plastic-based mechanical components.
- Experience in the vendor management and cooperate with contract manufacturers.
- Proficient procurement experience, supplier negotiation, project management and teamwork skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized anddetail- oriented
