Responsibilities|
- Make sure meet customer expectations of product quality, documented in specifications, and validated as met through testing
- Contribute to product specifications, ensuring that items that are critical to quality are documented and that items in the specifications are clearly characterized so that they can be adequately tested
- Monitor and enforce the organization’s compliance to FMEA, product development processes, working with colleagues from different function across the company to provide feedback in design reviews, support product development, testing and manufacturing
- Organize and assist with the execution of risk assessments on components, equipment, assembly process, and customer use case to comply with industry and regulatory standards
- Experience in Quality Management System (QMS) which includes Deviation, Complaints, Investigations, CAPA, Quality Risk Management, Quality Management Review, Training, Change Management, Document Management, Data Integrity, Supplier Quality Management, SCARs, and Compliance/Auditing
- Initiate and manage Quality Improvement Projects to improve quality, increase efficiencies, reduce waste, and reduce costs; ensuring to measure and report on effectiveness.
- Influence all levels of the organization by provide presentations, training, audit results, business communications, investigation summaries, and audit reports
- Ensure that reliability test plans are built, and results are assessed using a framework of predictive reliability analysis
- Certification requirements and guidance for regulatory labels are required to provide on products and packaging, examples include FCC, UL, CE, RoHS, WEEE, REACH for both safety and EMC/EMI
- Support 3rd party safety and compliance evaluations and testing tasks in accordance with project timelines
Requirements|
- BS or MS in quality management or relevant experience
- 5+ Years experience in Quality Systems for consumer electronic product and device
- Mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge are required
- Demonstrated application of predictive reliability analysis in the development of reliability test plans
- Experience conducting supplier audits and managing closure of audit non-conformance findings
- This role requires an in depth understanding of raw materials, components, metal fabrication, manufacturing processes, and significant experience in supplier quality management. Analytical curiosity and ability to solve complex problems using data
- Demonstrated record developing suppliers and delivering supplier quality improvements
- Experience in developing REL, IQC, IPQC, OBA, and ORT plans
- Six Sigma/Lean certification preferred
- Good interpersonal skills with suppliers, colleagues, and problem-solving skills.
