Senior NPI Engineer

Manage product engineering processes at Taiwanese ODM/OEM factories.
Ensuring that processes like SMT, DIP, assembly, testing, and packaging adhere to established quality and reliability benchmarks.
Evaluate and implement new materials and technologies in collaboration with ODM/OEMs to ensure significant improvements in manufacturing practices and processes.
Define and enforce critical quality control points, track key process metrics such as CPK, and collaborate with ODM/OEM partners to improve processes that enhance product consistency.
Work with CM and ODM/OEMs to continuously improve production practices and processes, ensuring products meet high customer reliability requirements.
Conduct technical research and development (R&D) as needed to meet and exceed product performance and customer requirements.
Regularly visit ODM/OEM factories to assess production status and assist in resolving process-related issues.
Align facilities, capabilities, and processes with key business objectives to maximize the value of NPI to the business.
Design, validate, implement, and maintain production systems to meet product delivery timelines, quality standards, and cost objectives.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean techniques and value engineering to enhance process capabilities and eliminate waste.
Ensure the accuracy of Production Engineering procedures and documentation.
Attend meetings, communicate instructions, and take necessary actions.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
Over 5 years of experience in overseeing and optimizing SMT&DIP, assembly, testing, and packaging processes within Taiwanese ODM/OEM manufacturing environments.
Deep expertise in PCBA technologies, with a strong focus on quality control and supplier management.
Proven leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills, with a track record of effective collaboration across local and international teams.
Fluent in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, facilitating smooth interaction with global teams.
Highly motivated, capable of working independently and taking initiative with minimal supervision.
