Process Engineer (Chemical)

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day lab operations, ensuring all testing procedures meet internal and regulatory quality standards.
• Supervise lab personnel, validate shift analyses, and provide ongoing training in lab best practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting, including daily process insights and monthly compliance summaries for client submission.
• Act as the go-to expert for water quality parameters, chemical safety, MSDS protocols, and plant sample points.
• Support plant operations via SCADA monitoring and collaborate closely with operations and maintenance teams to proactively address deviations.
• Oversee chemical quality verification upon delivery and ensure correct storage and labeling practices for all hazardous materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical field; a background in electrical or process engineering is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in a water treatment facility, industrial plant, or a similar regulated environment.
• Strong familiarity with lab procedures, SCADA systems, safety compliance, and analytical instrumentation.
• Proactive communicator with strong coordination skills across functional teams.
• Fluent in English for internal communication needs.
