This position represents a foundational technical leadership hire in Taiwan, supporting next-generation AI server platforms and working closely with global ecosystem partners.
Job Summary
The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will serve as the primary technical interface between server ODMs in Taiwan, global engineering teams, and key ecosystem partners involved in next-generation AI server platforms.
This role combines technical program leadership, mechanical system understanding, and strong cross-company coordination, ensuring successful execution of complex development programs from concept through production.
The TPM will play a critical role in supporting engagement with leading server ODMs and hyperscale ecosystem partners, helping align technical execution with long-term business strategy.
This position is designed for a senior technical program leader capable of building long-term credibility within Taiwan’s server ODM ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical program interface between Taiwan-based server ODMs, global engineering teams, and ecosystem partners.
- Build strong working relationships with ODM engineering teams (mechanical, system, thermal, and manufacturing) to support design-in and product development.
- Manage cross-company technical programs from concept through validation and mass production, aligning development milestones with ODM NPI schedules.
- Coordinate global engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams to ensure program execution and on-time delivery.
- Identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and supply chain risks throughout the product development cycle.
- Support design reviews, system integration, validation builds, and production ramp activities with ODM partners.
- Translate customer technical requirements into clear internal engineering and manufacturing deliverables.
- Act as the technical bridge between ODM customers, ecosystem partners, and internal global teams to drive successful program execution.
Requirements
Experience
- 7–15 years of experience in the AI server, data center, or server infrastructure ecosystem
- Experience working with Taiwan-based server ODMs or infrastructure suppliers
- Strong familiarity with ODM development cycles including NPI, validation, and mass production
- Proven experience managing complex technical programs involving multiple organizations
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
Technical Background
Working knowledge in the following areas is preferred:
- AI server racks and chassis systems
- Mechanical and thermal interfaces in server platforms
- Mechanical subsystems used in server infrastructure
- UL qualification and reliability validation processes
- Metal fabrication, tooling, and manufacturing fundamentals
- Materials and plastics manufacturing basics
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation
Program Management Tools
- Experience using engineering tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor
- Strong program management discipline and execution rigor
- Familiarity with Jira, MS Project, or Agile program management environments
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams, business leaders, and global stakeholders
