SUMMARY

Alarm.com is offering an exciting Summer Internship Program for motivated students interested in the consumer electronics manufacturing industry. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to real production environments, cross-functional collaboration, and industry-standard processes.

No prior working experience is required. Outstanding interns may be offered full-time employment upon successful completion of the program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing hardware testing and validation for consumer electronic products
• Support functional, reliability, and performance testing of electronic components and devices
• Set up test fixtures, measurement equipment, and testing environments under supervision
• Execute test procedures, record test results, and assist in data analysis
• Identify, document, and help troubleshoot hardware defects or anomalies
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to support product improvement

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Minimum TOEIC score of 700
• Basic knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and measurement tools (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing or lab environment
• Ability to communicate effectively in both Chinese and English
