Summary
We are partnering with a fast-growing US-based technology company to identify a key HR professional for its Taiwan office. As the local team continues to expand, this role will take ownership of both people operations and hiring activities, ensuring the organization can scale effectively while maintaining a strong and cohesive culture.
This position will serve as the primary HR point of contact in Taiwan, operating with a high level of autonomy. The ideal candidate is someone who can independently manage day-to-day HR matters, while also acting as a trusted local partner to global stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily HR operations in Taiwan, ensuring alignment with local labor regulations and internal policies
- Manage employee records, benefits administration, and HR systems
- Act as the first point of contact for employee-related matters and workplace topics
- Drive onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires
- Serve as the local HR representative, maintaining close connection with employees and team dynamics
- Provide insights on employee sentiment and organizational needs to global leadership
- Support the localization of global HR initiatives to fit the Taiwan context
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for Taiwan-based roles
Requirements
- 3–5 years of HR experience with exposure to both HR operations and recruitment
- Solid understanding of Taiwan labor regulations and HR practices
- Experience working in an international or cross-border environment
- Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills in English
- Familiarity with HR systems and recruitment platforms is a plus
