Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, validation, and debugging of embedded hardware systems used in connected devices such as smart cameras and IoT modules.
This role requires strong hands-on experience in circuit design, system integration, and hardware debugging, working closely with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready products.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and validation of circuits including digital, analog, power, and RF modules
- Perform hardware debugging for signal integrity, power issues, and communication failures
- Execute validation and verification testing across product development stages (EVT/DVT/PVT)
- Evaluate and select components based on datasheets and application requirements
- Prepare and maintain hardware documentation including schematics, BOM, and validation reports
- Collaborate with firmware, ME, and manufacturing teams to support prototype builds and issue resolution
- Ensure products meet regulatory and manufacturing requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in embedded hardware design
- Proficiency with schematic tools such as OrCAD, Allegro, or Altium
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, logic analyzers
- Strong understanding of electronic components and circuit fundamentals
- Familiar with communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, SDIO
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills with working-level English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in camera, IoT, or wireless communication products
- Familiar with RF modules or wireless connectivity (WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.)
- Experience supporting mass production and manufacturing environments
- Experience working with cross-regional teams
