Summary
We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven Head of Battery Management System (BMS) to lead the architecture, development, industrialization, and scaling of next-generation battery intelligence platforms for energy storage, EV, and industrial applications.
This leader will oversee cross-functional global teams spanning BMS hardware, embedded software, system integration, battery algorithms, functional safety, and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate combines deep technical understanding with strong operational leadership and business scalability experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale high-performing global engineering teams across hardware, firmware, systems, validation, and manufacturing.
- Drive architecture decisions balancing performance, safety, manufacturability, and cost optimization.
- Lead system integration with PCS, EMS, inverter, charger, and cloud platforms.
- Oversee NPI to HVM transition and manufacturing ramp execution.
- Collaborate closely with supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve scalability and operational efficiency.
- Interface directly with strategic customers, executive stakeholders, and ecosystem partners.
- Support key customer engagements including technical roadmap discussions and design-win activities.
- Translate market trends into scalable product platforms for global deployment
Requirements
- 15+ years of engineering experience in, Battery systems, Energy storage systems (ESS), EV platforms
- Experience leading products from concept through mass production.
- Strong operational mindset with experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and scaling engineering organizations.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management capability.
