Job Summary
This role is responsible for automation equipment assembly, debugging, optimization, and maintenance activities across smart manufacturing environments.
The engineer will support equipment setup, troubleshooting, performance improvement, and on-site issue resolution while collaborating with automation, manufacturing, and process engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Execute automation equipment assembly, setup, debugging, and validation
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform root cause analysis
- Improve equipment efficiency, stability, and automation performance
- Support preventive maintenance and equipment optimization activities
- Perform parameter tuning for robotic arms, vision systems, conveyors, and motion systems
- Prepare technical documents, SOPs, and maintenance procedures
- Support operator training and production line handover
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related field
- Experience in automation equipment setup, maintenance, or debugging
- Familiar with industrial automation systems and equipment troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of PLC systems and motion control concepts
- Strong hands-on engineering capability and problem-solving skills
- Able to travel domestically or overseas as required
