Automation Vision Software Engineer
Job Summary
This role is responsible for machine vision software development, image processing optimization, and automation equipment vision integration.
The engineer will collaborate with automation and controls teams to improve inspection accuracy, equipment intelligence, and production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize machine vision algorithms for automation equipment
- Integrate CCD camera systems, lighting modules, and image processing solutions
- Develop UI and software workflows using C# or related technologies
- Support Cognex, VisionPro, OPT, and other industrial vision platforms
- Debug image processing issues and optimize inspection performance
- Collaborate with controls teams on equipment inspection logic integration
- Support on-site tuning and customer application adjustments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Experience in machine vision or image processing development
- Familiar with Cognex VisionPro, OPT, or industrial vision systems
- Proficiency in C# software development
- Understanding of CCD camera integration and industrial imaging systems
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
