Responsibilities
- Provide on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for customers across semiconductor fabs and equipment manufacturers.
- Perform preventive maintenance, system diagnostics, calibration verification, and corrective actions to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Support customer qualification activities, product evaluations, and new technology deployments.
- Work closely with customers to identify and resolve technical issues related to gas flow control systems and process equipment.
- Collaborate with global Engineering, Product Development, and Technical Support teams to investigate root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Deliver technical training and operational guidance to customers as required.
- Maintain detailed service records, technical reports, and customer documentation.
- Develop strong customer relationships and serve as a trusted technical advisor during on-site support activities.
- Support field upgrades, product improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Travel regularly to customer sites within Taiwan and occasionally across the Asia-Pacific region as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 7 years or above of experience in semiconductor equipment service, technical support, applications engineering, or related customer-facing engineering roles.
- Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing environments, including wafer fabs or equipment OEMs.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel as required.
