Summary
Our client is a global technology company specializing in cloud computing and AI server solutions. As demand in the AI server market continues to grow rapidly, they are seeking an experienced Global Supplier Quality Engineer to lead the investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for supplier component quality issues identified during the manufacturing process or from customer field failures.
This role serves as the key quality interface between Customer, Product Quality, and Manufacturing Quality teams and external suppliers — driving supplier quality management and overall supply chain excellence through supplier audits, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead supplier component quality issues from identification through root cause investigation to corrective action implementation
- Establish and continuously improve supplier quality management systems and audit standards
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions at supplier sites using SCAR, 8D, and CAPA methodologies
- Partner with Customer, Product Quality, and Manufacturing Quality teams to ensure component quality meets production and customer requirements
- Analyze supplier data and defect trends to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct supplier audits and qualification assessments to evaluate quality and partnership feasibility
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Data System Management, or Mechanical Engineering
- Fluent in Mandarin with good English communication skills
- 6+ years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of 3 years in supplier quality management
- Hands-on experience with supplier audits, failure analysis, and corrective action management (SCAR, 8D, CAPA)
- Familiar with Quality Management Systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001
- Experience in AI server or related electronic component industries is highly preferred
- Experience with server power components or thermal management systems (e.g., liquid cooling, heat sinks, fans), including design, manufacturing, and failure analysis, is preferred.
