AI Product Manager

Summary

Vertical AI startup with global market clients. Looking for AI Product Manager to build and scale our AI-powered platform product for the Financial Service Industry. 

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working closely with founders, engineers, customers, and compliance teams to turn ambiguity into clear product decisions. 

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and prioritization, synthesizing customer, business, engineering, and compliance feedback into a clear roadmap. 

• Define product roadmap, user stories, and acceptance criteria that enable engineers to build with minimal ambiguity. 

• Define and track key product metrics, including adoption, activation, retention, and task completion quality. 

• Define quality standards and evaluation frameworks for AI/LLM-powered features, working closely with engineering to improve product reliability. 

• Own product decisions around AI workflows, human-in-the-loop experiences, audit trails, and compliance-sensitive features. 

• Conduct direct customer discovery with wealth managers and advisory firms, turning customer insights into product decisions. 

• Keep engineering and cross-functional teams aligned through clear goals, priorities, and written product decisions. 

• Make clear trade-offs and confidently decide what not to build. 

Requirements

• Software Product development experience with proven record in profitable product. 

• Experience as a first or only PM, with strong ownership of product strategy and roadmap decisions. 

• Strong ability to synthesize conflicting stakeholder input and translate it into clear priorities. 

• Strong data-driven product mindset, with experience working with product metrics, funnels, activation, and retention. 

• Comfortable working independently in an ambiguous, fast-moving startup environment. 

• Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
