The Accounting Manager will oversee the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective internal controls. This role includes managing key accounting functions, such as payroll, accounts receivable, cash flow, and inventory. The Accounting Manager will also collaborate with senior management on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all accounting operations, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with financial policies.
- Ensure adherence to relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including tax filings and statutory audits.
- Oversee the monthly and quarterly closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Analyze financial trends and data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various strategic initiatives, including process improvements and new system implementations.
- Monitor key financial metrics and provide guidance to senior management for achieving organizational goals.
- Coordinate with both internal and external auditors to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal departments, customers, and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP or locally designed systems) is preferred.
- Knowledge of local tax laws, banking regulations, and insurance compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
