Summary
The company is a global logistics & e-commerce solutions provider, is appointing a CFO to lead the next stage of transformation for its Taiwan business — one of the group’s fastest-growing strategic hubs in Asia.
The incoming CFO will reshape the financial foundation, build a modern, data-driven finance function, and act as a close strategic partner to the CEO and Group CFO. This is a mandate for someone who enjoys rebuilding, improving, and elevating organizations, rather than maintaining status quo.
Responsibilities
- Establish a scalable, compliant financial foundation
- Re-engineer accounting workflows, internal controls, and reporting standards
- Ensure timely, accurate, audit-ready month-end and year-end closing
- Strengthen governance on authorization, approvals, cash management, and tax compliance
- Work effectively with auditors, tax advisors, and group governance teams
- Modernize the finance function through digital tools & automation
- Integrate ERP, BI tools (Power BI), workflow automation platforms
- Build interactive dashboards and KPI visibility for business leaders
- Improve cross-functional collaboration and operational efficiency through standardized processes
- Advance data-driven decision-making across departments
- Lead financial planning, commercial analysis, and business support
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, P&L reviews, and cost control
- Analyze revenue drivers, margin structure, and operational performance
- Provide financial insight for new projects, pricing, ROI evaluations, and business cases
- Contribute to mid- and long-term strategic planning with the CEO and HQ
- Oversee cross-border reporting and group governance alignment
- Align Taiwan’s reporting practices with global HQ standards in Europe and Asia
- Represent the Taiwan finance function in group-level initiatives (e.g., TP, ESG, internal controls, cost mapping)
- Ensure consistency, transparency, and clarity of financial communication across regions
- Build a high-performing finance team & organizational capability
- Lead, mentor, and upskill the finance and accounting team
- Define roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and performance metrics
- Foster a culture of learning, accountability, transparency, and data fluency
Requirements
- 15+ years of finance experience, including 3+ years in a multinational leadership role.
- Strong command of IFRS, Taiwan tax, and transfer pricing, with cross-border governance experience.
- Proven track record in finance transformation, including process redesign or system implementation.
- Advanced capability in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic business support.
- Fluent English communication, able to collaborate directly with global headquarters and regional teams.
