Field Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to assess and qualify opportunities, engaging in detailed technical discussions with clients.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for semiconductor clients, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless AOI system integration.
• Collaborate with clients to install, configure, and optimize AOI equipment, ensuring it meets specific operational requirements.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for client teams to ensure effective use of AOI systems and software.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide feedback to internal product development teams for continuous improvement.
• Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend upgrades or adjustments to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with R&D, product, and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and develop tailored solutions for client applications.
• Stay updated on semiconductor manufacturing trends and AOI advancements to offer innovative solutions to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 2 years or above in a similar role within the semiconductor or AOI industry.
• Strong understanding of AOI systems, semiconductor manufacturing processes, and AI/ML technologies.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and provide quick, effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel to client sites for system installations, support, and training.
