Summary
Our client is a global manufacturing-focused technology company serving automotive and industrial markets. To support ongoing expansion and supply chain transformation, the company is seeking a senior procurement leader to drive global sourcing strategy and build long-term partnerships with key manufacturing suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of approximately 20 professionals responsible for global sourcing, RFQ execution, and supplier governance
- Define and drive long-term procurement strategy aligned with technology roadmap, product growth, and manufacturing expansion plans
- Establish multi-year supplier agreements covering pricing frameworks, capacity commitments, tooling, and capital investment
- Partner with key suppliers to ensure readiness in advanced packaging and testing technologies
- Build senior-level relationships with strategic manufacturing partners and conduct regular performance and business reviews
- Ensure suppliers meet technical, quality, sustainability, and regulatory expectations
- Oversee supplier selection and decision-making forums to ensure alignment with business priorities and timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (engineering, operations, finance, IT) to support enterprise-wide system integration and process improvement initiatives
- Improve efficiency and cycle time of RFQ and sourcing processes through governance and data-driven management
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain leadership within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing industries
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, including materials, equipment, and outsourced production partners
- Demonstrated success in global sourcing strategy, complex supplier negotiations, and long-term commercial agreements
- Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing expansion or high-volume production environments
- Track record of managing geographically distributed supplier networks and cross-cultural teams
