Responsibilities

• Lead product development from initial concept through to production.
• Actively contribute to system design for embedded computing systems.
• Develop hardware specifications and create test plans.
• Capture schematics using design tools such as Orcad.
• Collaborate with layout, mechanical, and signal integrity engineers to complete designs.
• Bring up systems and execute engineering validation in the lab.
• Participate in technical discussions with cross-functional teams.
• Directly interact with customers and address their technical needs.
• Solve challenging technical problems and resolve issues.
• Manage multiple concurrent tasks effectively.
• Oversee hardware builds and procurement activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6+ years of hardware engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of board design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and signal integrity.
• Experience with design tools such as Cadence Orcad and Allegro.
• Familiarity with basic interfaces such as I2C, SMBUS, SPI, UART, USB.
• Understanding of high-speed interfaces like PCIe, DDR, Display, and Network interfaces.
• Experience with DC-DC step-down converter design.
• Familiarity with x86/Arm servers and subsystems.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and design validation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Linux and scripting languages is a plus.
