Hardware Quality Director

Summary

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, globally recognized tech company that builds innovative restaurant platforms helping businesses adapt, take control,and focus on what they do best. With their products gaining strong market traction, they are seeking a Director of Hardware Quality to join their expanding Hardware Supply Chain Operations team. This role is key to shaping manufacturing quality strategy and execution to ensure products meet the highest standards.

• Lead and develop manufacturing quality strategies aligned with business goals
• Collaborate closely with Hardware Engineering, Product, Operations, and Business teams to drive quality objectives
• Manage supplier selection, evaluation, and approval to maintain supply chain quality
• Use 8D problem-solving methods to quickly address and contain supplier and manufacturing quality issues
• Drive adoption of advanced quality tools and methodologies at suppliers to mitigate risks early
• Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement through supplier scorecards
• Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to identify and drive process and design improvements
• Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing quality team to maximize impact and growth
• Work with IT and BI teams to enhance reporting, dashboards, automation, and workflows

Responsibilities

• Experienced quality leader with 10+ years in quality engineering and 5+years in management
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Deep knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts quality control,including Display Touch Panels, Power Supplies, PCBA, and Cables
• Familiar with compliance standards like RoHS, Prop 65, WEEE, and APQP/PPAP processes
• Strong background in quality management systems, reliability testing,and audits
• Proactive and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and leadership
• Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese (spoken and written)
• Comfortable with a hybrid work model requiring at least two days onsite weekly
