Responsibilities
- Bring-up and optimize embedded Linux devices across hardware and software layers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across hardware, firmware, and software domains
- Integrate third-party frameworks (e.g., remote desktop, web-based tools)
- Drive cross-functional development across firmware, BSP, and middleware
- Analyze trade-offs between performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Architect and implement scalable, maintainable embedded software solutions
- Design robust APIs and efficient data structures for inter-module communication
- Participate in design reviews, documentation, and global engineering discussions
Requirements
- Solid understanding of Linux internals: kernel build, driver integration, performance tuning, crash analysis
- Familiar with BSP development: u-boot, kernel/DTS customization, low-level drivers
- Strong with Linux internals, crash analysis, performance tuning
- Familiar with graphics stacks (X, Wayland/Weston, mesa3D, DRM)
- Experienced in multimedia frameworks (FFmpeg, GStreamer)
- Skilled in socket programming (TCP/UDP), cross-compilation, and build systems (Make/CMake/qmake)
- Ability to communicate moderately well in English (spoken & written)
