Molding Manager

World-leading pioneer of medical devices which has thousands of employees worldwide.

Supervise and guide a team of specialists to support the production of injection-molded components for our autoinjector systems.
Assume engineering responsibility for molds, component manufacturing, and related processes within our production system.
Collaborate closely with Plant/Production managers, toolmakers, maintenance teams, quality assurance, and process development to enhance performance, processes, and troubleshoot issues.
Lead the creation and implementation of improvement plans and requirements for capacity expansion and future mold generations and production setups.
Drive improvement programs and capacity expansion in injection molding.
Manage all departmental resources to support ad-hoc event responses, production support, and improvement projects within the department.
Provide direction to your team and spearhead ongoing investigations as necessary, including communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or a related field, or equivalent education/experience.
At least 10 years of relevant industry experience, ideally encompassing various functions such as product/process development, production, and quality/compliance.
Experience in at least three of the following areas: product development, process development, quality engineering, injection molding technology, process automation, metrology/sensor technology, process and system verification & validation (V&V), regulatory compliance.
Advanced knowledge of common problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies, with a proven track record of successful application.
Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team of highly specialized experts, as well as extensive technical project management experience.
Advanced expertise in process development, verification, and validation.
Strong intercultural and interdisciplinary communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English (both verbal and written).
A passionate and committed self-starter with a “can-do” attitude, a team player who takes responsibility to get the job done.
Ability to communicate in Mandarin.
