Responsibilities|
- Review projections to guarantee seamless supply for business operations.
- Oversee the request for quote procedure and approve pricing in accordance with internal guidelines.
- Oversee initiatives related to keyboards, mice, headsets, and gaming controllers, or specific responsibilities linked to New Products projects, ensuring compliance with defined limitations in terms of scope, schedule, budget, and quality throughout the project’s timeline.
- Examine MRD/PRD to ensure DVT test plan and reliability test and verify screening of all failure modes before production.
- Collaborate on DFM with design engineers, mechanical engineers, and quality teams to verify that new products align with design for manufacturability guidelines in terms of cost, quality, and yield.
- Initiate quality escalation measures and address quality issues promptly
- Verify the availability of factory capacity, equipment, materials, and workforce to meet internal demand.
- Establish reverse logistics processes and devise rework strategies post new product launch.
- Collaborate with suppliers to create continuous improvement plans for manufacturing processes, aiming to enhance throughput and quality.
- Constantly seek opportunities to enhance processes and quality during the NPI process.
- Possess an understanding and knowledge of problem-solving techniques capable of generating comprehensive failure analysis reports.
Requirements|
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of professional experience in consumer electronics or product manufacturing.
- Possess a decade of expertise with any of the following products: keyboards, mice, headsets, or gaming controllers, inclusive of switches, keycaps, and headset drivers variations.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years of experience in people management.
- Showcases experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
- Possesses a strong understanding of business goals and strategy.
- Fluent in English.
