You will integrate power electronics, control algorithms, and software platforms to drive the development and deployment of hydrogen fuel cell systems and energy management solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and market needs.
This position is a core technical leadership role, offering direct influence over product direction, system architecture decisions, and the evolution of the company’s energy business.
The role provides clear growth potential toward broader technical leadership or CTO-level responsibilities, with exposure to overall business unit development.
Responsibilities
- Define overall technical solution architecture and application strategy for energy management and automation systems, aligning customer requirements with internal R&D capabilities.
- Act as the primary technical authority interfacing with key customers and strategic partners, translating system requirements into actionable engineering specifications.
- Lead control strategy definition, simulation analysis, and system-level validation to support customer use cases and field applications.
- Guide application and engineering teams in using MATLAB / Simulink to evaluate control logic, optimize parameters, and assess system performance.
- Coordinate integration of energy control platforms across grid systems, hydrogen fuel cells, and power conversion devices to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee implementation of control software and hardware solutions (PLC-based systems, C#, LabVIEW), ensuring consistency between field application needs and system design.
- Design and review communication architectures (Modbus RTU/TCP, CAN, Ethernet) to ensure stable, scalable data exchange in customer deployments.
- Support pre-sales and post-sales technical activities, including solution proposals, technical reviews, system demonstrations, and issue resolution.
- Lead cross-functional alignment between application engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure successful system delivery and deployment.
- Drive issue triage, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for customer-reported technical issues.
- Contribute technical input to large-scale or government-funded energy projects, supporting proposal reviews, technical feasibility assessments, and execution planning.
- Mentor and develop application and field engineering teams, strengthening customer-facing technical capability and solution ownership.
Qualifications
