Senior BSP Development Engineer

Summary

We’re seeking a seasoned Embedded Software Engineer with strong BSP, Linux, and networking experience to join our Device Engineering team. You’ll contribute to building next-generation surveillance and IoT devices, collaborating across hardware, cloud, and software teams in a dynamic, agile environment. Networking expertise—beyond just camera firmware—will be a key asset

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers on device design and manufacturing
• Work with software teams to implement cloud-connected features
• Partner with product and QA teams to ensure product quality and performance
• Design, implement, and optimize networking features in embedded platforms, especially for surveillance devices (e.g., real-time streaming, protocol handling, and secure connectivity)
• Troubleshoot and debug networking-related issues, including packet-level analysis, socket programming, and performance testing

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in firmware engineering with engineering degree.
• Strong in C/C++, BSP, Linux kernel and drivers, and bring-up.
• Hands-on experience with network devices or IoT communication modules (e.g., routers, gateways, NPUs, etc.)
• Experience with wireless communication technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, Zigbee, etc.)
• Experience in cross platform development such as Android, Yocto…etc
• Experience in Qualcomm or SigmaStar solutions is a huge plus.
• Proficient in English
