Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components and sub-assemblies for drone and aerial vehicle systems.
- Own sub-system design from prototype through EVT/DVT/PVT, ensuring design-for-manufacturing (DFM).
- Produce detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, BOMs, and mechanical specifications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, firmware, and manufacturing teams.
- Solve structural and thermal design challenges under tight timelines.
- Support mechanical validation, system integration, and mechanical test platform development.
- Participate in supplier communication and prototype iteration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Experience in mechanical product design, preferably in aerospace, robotics, or drones.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
- Solid knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and DFM/DFT principles.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- English proficiency (intermediate level or above in reading/writing/conversational).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in drone/UAV structural design is a strong plus.
- Familiar with system integration in mechanical-electrical assemblies.
- Exposure to product lifecycle from concept to mass production.
- Ability to document and communicate complex technical ideas clearly.
