Job Summary
The CTO will lead the company’s overall technology strategy, with a primary focus on developing and scaling liquid cooling solutions for high-performance applications.
This role will oversee technology roadmap definition, product development, and engineering execution, while aligning R&D, manufacturing, and business strategy.
As a key executive leader, the CTO will play a critical role in building the company’s liquid cooling capability, driving innovation, and positioning the organization as a competitive player in the AI and data center ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the company’s liquid cooling technology roadmap, including direct-to-chip, cold plate, and system-level solutions
- Build and scale engineering capabilities across thermal, mechanical, and system integration teams
- Drive development of liquid cooling products for AI servers, data centers, and high-power electronics
- Collaborate with business leaders to align technology strategy with market opportunities and revenue growth
- Oversee product development lifecycle from concept to mass production
- Establish partnerships with customers, suppliers, and ecosystem players (server OEMs, ODMs, hyperscalers)
- Lead innovation in thermal management technologies, materials, and system architectures
- Ensure manufacturability, cost optimization, and scalability of liquid cooling solutions
- Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams and technical leaders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in thermal, mechanical, or system engineering
- Strong experience in liquid cooling technologies (cold plate, liquid loop, immersion, etc.)
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional engineering teams
- Experience in data center, server, HPC, or high-power systems
- Strong understanding of system-level integration, manufacturability, and product commercialization
- Experience defining technology roadmap and driving execution at organizational level
- Strong business acumen and ability to align technology with market strategy
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or scaling a new technology business unit
- Experience working with global customers in AI / hyperscaler / server ecosystem
- Familiarity with advanced cooling technologies such as immersion cooling or two-phase cooling
- Experience in precision manufacturing or thermal module production
