A quantitative firm focused on high-frequency trading, leverage advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and high-speed networks to operate as a cryptocurrency market maker, providing real-time pricing for global cryptocurrency products.
This role is critical in overseeing statutory and tax audits, managing various accounting functions, and ensuring adherence to Taiwan Tax Law and Company Law.
Responsibilities|
- Month-End and Year-End Closing: Lead the closing processes by preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and producing financial statements.
- Financial Oversight: Supervise all finance and accounting operations to guarantee the timely and accurate submission of regular reports.
- Report Management: Ensure the precise and timely delivery of monthly financial reports, annual tax returns, and transfer pricing documentation.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external parties, facilitating statutory and tax audit processes and collaborating with various departments to compile necessary accounting records.
- Tax Compliance: Serve as the primary contact for tax authority inquiries and transfer pricing reports, assessing potential tax risks and ensuring compliance.
- Accounting Management: Oversee accruals, payroll accounting, and fixed asset sub-ledgers to ensure accurate monthly financial closures.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Undertake additional tasks or projects as assigned by management to support overall departmental goals.
Requirements|
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential.
- Familiar with Taiwan Tax Law and Company Law.
- Over 8 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Experienced in managing financial operations for multiple entities in different regions.
- Business proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Proactive, and able to work independently with cross-functional stakeholders.
