A global semiconductor company is looking for a Field Applications Engineer Manager to lead its touch and haptic IC solutions for notebook PCs. This role connects technology with market needs, working closely with PC brands, design partners, and engineering teams to bring next-generation touchpad products to life.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for integrating audio codecs, amplifiers, and related IC solutions into Windows-based consumer platforms
- Lead debugging and issue resolution during system integration on customer hardware environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams and partners
- Develop tools and automation scripts to support integration and reliability testing
- Define and implement diverse audio use-case profiles within host driver frameworks
- Prepare technical documentation and reports in English for both internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in EE, CS, or related field
- 5+ years of audio and 10+ years in software development.
- Hands on experience in Windows driver integration, PC system and ACPI.
- Experience in Intel and AMD platforms.
- Strong in C and ability to understand basic audio circuit schematics
- Skilled with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and in-circuit emulators).
- Strong cross-team collaboration and communication skills
