Summary
This is a key role in a newly formed team within our affiliated company in Taiwan. The focus of this position is to provide strategic human resources expertise to support business development and organizational growth. The role will drive talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development to ensure the company attracts, retains, and develops the best talent. The individual will work closely with business and functional leaders to align people strategies with business goals and contribute to a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
Building Partnerships and Leadership Coaching
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with business leaders, both within and outside the organization.
- Collaborate with regional HR teams and key stakeholders to promote effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
- Provide coaching and advice to leaders on complex leadership and people management issues.
Workforce Planning and Talent Acquisition
- Collaborate with business and functional leaders to analyze workforce needs and participate in the annual business planning process.
- Advise on workforce deployment and partner with Finance, Brand, and Function teams to ensure alignment with investment strategies.
- Work closely with the regional Talent Acquisition (TA) team to attract and retain talent.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring smooth integration and support for successful adaptation.
Organization Development
- Contribute to shaping business strategies, including the design of optimal organizational structures.
- Support leaders in defining and setting up organization structures, position plans, and communication strategies, while managing change processes effectively.
- Identify critical workforce development needs and collaborate with various teams to implement development programs.
- Drive continuous leadership development and talent enhancement within the team.
HR Operations and Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee payroll preparation and coordinate with outsourced payroll vendors to ensure timely processing and compliance with tax and social insurance requirements.
- Work with the central C&B team to manage the total compensation process, including salary range assessment and strategy development.
- Collaborate with sales operations and compensation teams on territory planning, sales alignment, and sales plan adjustments.
- Manage headcount planning, budget forecasting, and local HR policy review and implementation.
Employee Engagement
- Strengthen company culture and values through various programs and activities.
- Develop communication channels to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in human resources, with experience as an HR Business Partner in a sizable organization; retail industry experience is a plus.
- Cross-cultural competence with excellent communication and engagement skills.
- Ability to be a solution provider and execute hands-on work effectively.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with a global perspective.
