Responsibilities|
- Lead and oversee the mechanical engineering aspects and close collaboration with the EE and FW team.
- Direct the design process of plastic and metal structural components, encompassing casings, covers, and frames, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Provide mentorship and support to the Mechanical Engineering team, fostering professional development and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure alignment and synergy in product development efforts.
Requirements|
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in developing powertrain or bodies of vehicles, with a strong emphasis on mechanical design.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Creo or familiarity with Solidworks; ability to utilize these tools effectively for design tasks.
- Prior experience in the automotive propulsion industry is highly desirable, with a deep understanding of relevant technologies and processes.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and lead discussions.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation.
