PCB Layout Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and optimize assembly processes at EMS and ODM partners.
• Set up functional test systems and document production test requirements.
• Validate processes and ensure alignment with design specs and product quality targets.
• Lead yield improvement and cost-down activities in collaboration with suppliers.
• Monitor and analyze production KPIs to identify bottlenecks or issues.
• Act as the technical liaison between Taipei and our international teams.
• Support pilot builds, create build reports, and guide ECR/ECN execution.
• Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis with suppliers across Asia.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields.
• At least 1 year of experience in PCB layout; experience in notebook or tablet layout design preferred.
• Proficient with Cadence Allegro (schematic and PCB layout).
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with power and EMI layout rules.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented attitude.
