Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Product Validation Engineer to support the quality and reliability of next-generation consumer electronics and interactive peripherals. Working alongside software QA, firmware, product, and engineering teams, you will validate both device functionality and companion applications throughout the product development cycle.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys hands-on product testing, approaches issues from the end-user perspective, and is eager to build broader validation expertise in an international product environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute structured test plans and test cases for firmware, software, and system-level validation
- Perform functional, regression, compatibility, feature, and firmware-update testing across multiple product releases
- Validate interactive consumer products such as audio devices, keyboards, mice, accessories, and related PC applications
- Conduct out-of-box testing and general product checks from an end-user perspective
- Identify, reproduce, and document software or firmware defects with clear evidence and actionable reproduction steps
- Confirm defect resolutions and perform follow-up regression testing to ensure overall product stability
- Maintain accurate test results, defect records, and timely project status updates
- Collaborate with senior QA engineers and cross-functional stakeholders during project reviews and testing activities
- Contribute observations and improvement ideas that strengthen product quality and the overall user experience
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Knowledge of software testing principles, QA processes, Windows environments, and PC peripherals
- Exposure to software, firmware, hardware, or system testing through professional experience, internships, or academic projects
- Familiarity with issue-tracking platforms such as Jira
- Basic scripting capability in Python, PowerShell, or a comparable language
- Familiar with PC accessories, audio products, controllers, keyboards, mice, or headsets
- Able to read technical specifications, report issues, and participate in meetings in English
- Strong attention to detail, logical problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn new products quickly
- Collaborative working style with accountability for assigned testing tasks and deliverables
