Summary
A multinational industrial business is seeking a senior finance leader to support the Taiwan operation, taking ownership not only of financial management, but also broader operational governance across people, administration, and compliance-related matters.
This role serves as a key business partner to local management and regional stakeholders, with responsibility spanning business performance oversight, control environment enhancement, and operational support for future growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead overall financial management activities, including accounting operations, cash management, statutory compliance, and tax-related matters.
- Support monthly and periodic reporting requirements to regional/global headquarters, while coordinating external audits and ensuring reporting accuracy.
- Drive planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management decision-making and business performance monitoring.
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership on commercial performance, operational improvement, and business expansion initiatives.
- Strengthen governance framework, internal control processes, and risk oversight in line with corporate standards.
- Oversee selected corporate support functions, including human resources administration, payroll coordination, and employee-related matters.
- Support compliance with local employment regulations as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Supervise general administration and office support activities, including vendor management and operational purchasing coordination.
- Participate in reviewing business agreements and supporting contract administration from a compliance and risk perspective.
- Contribute as part of the leadership team in driving cross-functional alignment and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; advanced degree or professional qualification is a plus.
- Around 10+ years of relevant finance experience, including managerial responsibilities within an international or matrix organization.
- Solid exposure to financial control, compliance, planning, and statutory requirements in a corporate environment.
- Prior scope covering additional operational functions (e.g. HR, administration, compliance, or legal coordination) would be advantageous.
- Strong business partnering capability, sound judgment, and ability to operate independently in a lean environment.
- Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and balancing strategic topics with hands-on execution.
