- Develop C++-based device communication modules, services, or drivers for gateway products.
- Support communication and system integration between Embedded Linux gateways and Android-based devices.
- Integrate and troubleshoot Linux kernel components, device drivers, and hardware peripherals.
- Perform board bring-up, system-level debugging, and performance optimization.
- Define and integrate communication interfaces and protocols across gateway, Android, connected devices, and cloud services.
- Work closely with electrical and mechanical engineers throughout device design, validation, and manufacturing.
- Collaborate with Android, cloud software, product, and QA teams to deliver reliable connected-device features.
- Troubleshoot issues across hardware, Embedded Linux, networking, and application layers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Embedded Linux, BSP, firmware, or device-level software development.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ with a good understanding of scalable software architecture and design principles.
- Hands-on experience with BSP development, Linux kernel, device drivers, and hardware bring-up.
- Experience developing device communication modules, hardware abstraction layers, platform services, or device-related software using C/C++.
- Familiarity with Embedded Linux and Android system integration.
- Experience with hardware interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, and ADC.
- Experience with cross-compilation and embedded development environments such as Yocto, Buildroot, OpenWrt, or Android.
- Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Good English communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing gateway, router, access point, or other connected-device products.
