Summary
An international technology company is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy and development of its next-generation embedded computing platform for government and mission-critical applications.
This role will own the product roadmap for a complex system combining high-performance computing, RF capabilities, hardware acceleration, and embedded software. The ideal candidate has a strong R&D background, remains technically hands-on, and can translate customer needs into clear product and system requirements.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product strategy, roadmap, and priorities for next-generation embedded computing platforms.
- Translate customer requirements and use cases into product specifications, system requirements, and clear development priorities.
- Work closely with RF, hardware, FPGA, embedded software, AI, and system engineering teams to evaluate technical feasibility and architectural trade-offs.
- Lead cross-functional product development from concept validation and prototyping through NPI, product readiness, and market launch.
- Evaluate platform architecture across SoC, FPGA, GPU, memory, high-speed interfaces, and multi-channel signal-processing capabilities.
- Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis to identify product opportunities, capability gaps, and investment priorities.
- Develop product proposals and business cases based on customer value, technical differentiation, scalability, and commercial potential.
- Coordinate with external technology partners and suppliers to align product requirements, development schedules, and platform integration.
- Support customer-facing technical discussions, product demonstrations, solution positioning, and sales enablement materials.
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback, translating insights into continuous product and roadmap improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in hardware, embedded systems, RF systems, FPGA/SoC platforms, or other complex technology products.
- Strong R&D or system engineering background with practical, hands-on product development experience.
- Experience working as a Technical Product Manager, System Architect, Technical Program Manager, or senior R&D engineer with product ownership responsibilities.
- Solid understanding of complex embedded system architecture, including FPGA/SoC, high-performance computing, memory, high-speed interfaces, and hardware–software integration.
- Experience with RF, digital signal processing, multi-channel data acquisition, or related system-level technologies is highly preferred.
- Proven experience translating customer needs into technical requirements and driving products from concept to launch.
- Ability to communicate effectively across engineering, business, customer, and supplier teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate technical trade-offs, market opportunities, and product investment priorities.
- Fluent English communication skills and experience working with international or cross-border teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and a high level of ownership.
