Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives from early concept exploration through development, validation, and launch readiness.
- Convert business objectives and product requirements into actionable execution plans for external partners and suppliers.
- Oversee supplier performance, including schedules, deliverables, technical alignment, issue resolution, and risk management.
- Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, quality, operations, and global stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical, commercial, schedule, quality, and supply-chain risks.
- Develop project status updates, management reports, risk assessments, and decision-support materials.
- Support supplier qualification, technology assessment, prototype planning, and capability evaluations.
- Facilitate decision-making by analyzing challenges, evaluating alternatives, and presenting recommendations.
Requirements
- Experience in technical program management, engineering project leadership and product development.
- Experience working with complex hardware-based products and electromechanical systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing external manufacturing partners, strategic suppliers, or development vendors.
- Ability to participate in technical discussions and evaluate engineering approaches and trade-offs.
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese with strong professional communication skills in English.
- Experience working within multinational, global, or matrixed organizations is highly desirable.
