Summary
A U.S.-based ODM manufacturing company focused on Smart Home and consumer electronics products, with core expertise in plastic injection molding, tooling, and mass production.
Responsibilities
- Develop and expand business opportunities with ODM/OEM customers in the Smart Home and consumer electronics ecosystem.
- Leverage existing relationships with key accounts to identify new tooling and plastic injection opportunities.
- Drive early-stage customer engagement including RFQ discussions, design feasibility, and tooling proposals.
- Coordinate with internal engineering and tooling teams to support DFM review, quotation, and project evaluation.
- Manage the full business cycle from opportunity identification, RFQ, sampling, NPI, to mass production.
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for customers and ensure smooth communication between customer engineering teams and internal operations.
- Develop long-term customer relationships and secure repeat programs across multiple product generations.
- Independently manage pipeline development, pricing strategy, and commercial negotiation.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of sales or business development experience in plastic injection molding, tooling, or precision mechanical components.
- Proven experience working directly with ODM/OEM customers in consumer electronics or Smart Home devices.
- Strong understanding of tooling development, plastic injection processes, NPI, and mass production.
- Existing relationships with key customers in the Smart Home or consumer electronics supply chain is highly preferred.
- Ability to independently drive customer development and manage complex programs.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments with engineering, tooling, and manufacturing teams.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
