Responsibilities

- Collaborate closely with contract manufacturers on production planning, material readiness, and build issue resolution
- Support NPI (New Product Introduction) activities to ensure timely material availability and cost visibility
- Analyze inventory performance and sourcing strategies to optimize cost, lead times, and supply assurance
- Own supplier qualification, AVL creation, and performance monitoring
- Coordinate across internal stakeholders (engineering, procurement, logistics, and business) to ensure smooth and scalable operations
- Identify supply chain risks and execute proactive mitigation strategies such as buffer planning or dual sourcing
- Monitor and act on key metrics such as OTIF (on-time-in-full), inventory turns, and cost per unit
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in hardware-related supply chain roles, with exposure to both strategy and execution
- Familiarity with working alongside contract manufacturers (CMs), ideally in Asia
- Hands-on knowledge in procurement, sourcing, logistics, and/or material planning
- Experience supporting NPI or scaling new products from proto to mass production
- Understanding of BOM structure, EE/ME components, and lifecycle cost modeling
- Excellent communication and cross-functional project coordination skills
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, distributed, and ambiguous environments typical of startups
- Fluent in English; Mandarin a plus
